About

Cuisinemadequick.com wants to make good food on a minimal budget a reality for everyone. So many recipe books and web sites out there try to tell you they are “easy to follow” but when you open the book you find yourself lost.  I have decided to put these supposedly “easy” recipes to the test.

I am constantly researching recipes that sound good and look easy to prepare.  After some tweaking of the recipes as needed, I share the preparation experience with you.  Some recipes are first time preparations and some are old staples, meaning you get to experience the potential difficulties and nuances as I attempt to recipes and ideas.  When all is done, I make a determination if the recipe really is cuisine made quick or cuisine dud.

Furthermore, all recipes are cut down to serve two or three people.  All ingredients are roughly priced out to determine the true cost of each cuisine and cheaper substitutions are used as needed.

Join me for my journey to discover new and tasty recipes in a mission to make cooking fun, affordable and most importantly – delicious.

About me

First off, I am by no means a chef. I have no education in cooking besides experience and growing up with a fantastic cook for a mother. I have, however, lived on my own or with a roommate for nearly four years. This left me having to find cheap and quick recipes to avoid eating processed or unhealthy fast food night after night. The list of regulars has grown fairly large and I thought it was time to share for others in a similar situation as well as experiment with new ideas. Most of the time the results are favorable but there are those times when I create a dud. In those cases I make the bad recipes so you don’t have to.

I spend my day as the Communications Specialist for a large commercial construction firm in Indianapolis. Between managing my personal blogs, I also manage the design and content of the company’s web site and blog as well. The experience is great and I try to embrace every day as a learning experience. I love what I do and the challenge it brings.
